In this session, the facilitator Ashwin Srivastava interacted with the participants in an attempt to decode what is it that the growing startups need to do in the current context while keeping in mind people management and leadership. On the surface, the reasons for startup failures may look like “ran out of cash”, “could not get the right talent”, “built a product that did not fit the market”, etc. But these are the effects, not the causes. Once we deep dive, we find that majority of the causes lie in simple facts of how leaders connect with each other and their growing teams and understand them, or how they take care of the development of their team members, understand their aspirations and imprint the same on the products they create, or how they create a purpose for all to believe in.
